- The abundant Amakhala wildlife includes lion, leopard, cheetah, white rhino, elephant, giraffe, zebra and buffalo, ranging over a breathtaking oxbow river plain in the heart of the 7500 hectare, malaria-free conservancy.
- Included in your stay are morning and evening game drives leaving from your lodge. You will be guided by informative, professional rangers through Amakhala Game Reserve in open Land Rovers. Here you can return to nature and explore the abundant wildlife, the diverse vegetation and the dramatic landscape of the Eastern Cape.
- Each suite and tent is well appointed for our guests' optimal comfort with every amenity including large, en-suite bathrooms, each with a deep-soaking tub overlooking the African bush, an indoor and outdoor shower for the more adventurous, a private wooden deck, bar fridge and facilities for making hot drinks.
- A central fireplace for romantic evenings too. Beds are king size or 2 singles depending on guest requirements. All suites and tents are air-conditioned while bar fridges and automatic kettles are an added convenience.
